In 2015 Mary Paterson, Diana Damian Martin and Johanna Linsley started a conversation about the spaces, voices and structures of ‘feminist critical practices’, in relation to newspaper and on-line criticism, academic critical discourse as well as a broader cultural position of criticality. The conversation is ongoing, informal, sometimes private and sometimes public. It is open to everyone to join in. It does not have any answers.
At Hear Me Roar, Mary Paterson and Maddy Costa will continue this conversation in relation to their work (as writers within performance), and to the Hear Me Roar symposium, with specific emphasis on intergenerational dialogue. We hope you will join us.
Please read and comment on the conversation so far, here.
